Jayraiya, The Third Shard

Decided to draw another DND character as a warm up!

This here is Jayraiya, an elven wizard of the blade singing variety.

Obviously the player wanted to play Jiraiya from Naruto XD so he created a wizard and reflavoured all of the spells as ninjutsu, for example the "shield" spell is a substitution jutsu. His spellbook is also a giant ninja scroll.

To integrate the character into the world we made the ninja knockoffs from the leaf village of Naruto into a group of ninja adjacent elves who live in the Village Hidden in the Trees.

He uses the blade singer modal ability as the character's "sage mode".

Jayraiya fits into the Shards as the group's book keeper and accountant for the Spectres and Spirits tavern they run. He's also got an ungodly AC for a level 4 wizard and is pretty much untouchable.

Tried to incorporate more of the Fantasy elements into his design.
